Stone plastic surgery

I used paper clay to mend the broken cobblestone

This work was created when I was walking alone in one afternoon. I saw the broken cobblestone on the side of the road. I felt a little sad. They seemed to be hurt. People always picked up and collect the beautiful stones while these broken ones went to be ignored.

So I used my sculpture skills to repair them. The lost part of them will never be recovered. Throughout the whole repair process, the repaired parts came entirely from my observation of the existed parts, and from my imagination. I used my human aesthetics to give these natural objects a cosmetic surgery.
